Terms of use

Looka is an app that lets you build a digital wardrobe from store links or photos of garments, combine garments into outfits and use artificial intelligence to generate an approximate image of how they would look on you, based on your own photos.

Looka doesn’t sell clothes or act as an intermediary in any purchase. We may change, improve or withdraw features; if a change significantly affects you, we’ll let you know.

You can start as a guest, with 1 free try-on. To keep using Looka you’ll need to create an account with your email; to sign in we send you a one-time code. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Looka. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You’re responsible for the photos, images and links you upload. To protect everyone, these rules are mandatory:

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of another adult who has given you their explicit consent to use them in Looka.
• It is forbidden to upload or generate:

• photos of minors;
• nudity, sexual or sexually suggestive content;
• content that impersonates another person;
• “deepfakes” or images created to deceive, harass, humiliate, defame or harm anyone;
• illegal, violent, hateful or discriminatory content;
• content that infringes third-party intellectual property, industrial property or image rights, or misuses trademarks.

We may apply automatic filters and review or block requests that break these rules. More details on the use of AI page.

Licence: you keep all your rights over your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence to store, process and transform your content solely to provide the service to you (for example creating stickers and generating your try-ons). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except as needed to comply with the law.

Try-ons are synthetic images generated by AI. They are an indicative approximation and don’t guarantee the size, fit, drape, colour or real appearance of a garment when you wear it. They may contain errors or differences from you or the garment. Before buying, always check the seller’s information (size guide, composition, returns policy).

Generated images may include a label or metadata identifying them as AI-generated. Don’t remove those marks to pass them off as real photos.

Looka is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Mango, Zara, H&M, COS or any other brand or store. Trademarks and trade names belong to their respective owners and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only.

When you paste a link, we download the public product page and its image at your request, for your personal and private use within the app. You must not use Looka to scrape store content in bulk or for commercial purposes.

You may use your try-ons for personal purposes, including sharing them on your social media, as long as you follow these rules and don’t present them as real photos to deceive anyone. Any commercial use (for example advertising, sales or catalogues) requires our prior written permission and, where applicable, that of the owners of the garments and brands shown.

The Free plan includes 3 try-ons a month. Looka Pro costs €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year (taxes included unless the store states otherwise) and offers unlimited try-ons subject to fair use.

• Subscriptions are bought through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase and are also governed by their terms.
• They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• You can cancel anytime from your Apple or Google account settings. You’ll keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we can’t process them directly.
• If we change the price, we’ll let you know in advance and you can cancel before it applies.

None of the above limits your rights under applicable consumer law.

“Unlimited” means no limit for normal personal use, up to a maximum of 200 try-ons a month per account. This limit keeps the service sustainable for everyone. We may also temporarily limit automated or anomalous use.

We may suspend or close your account, and delete content, if you breach these terms, especially the content and AI rules, or where required by law or to protect others. Where possible and reasonable, we’ll warn you first. You can stop using Looka and delete your account whenever you like.

We provide the service with due care, but we don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI results will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for purchase decisions made based on generated images, or for indirect damages or loss of profit. Nor are we responsible for content you upload or for how you use generated images.

These limitations don’t apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you’re a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. First of all, write to us: we’ll try to resolve it amicably.

We may update these terms. We’ll publish the new version with its date and, if the changes are relevant, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Looka afterwards, we’ll take it that you accept them.
